It is a type of water sport in which a windsurfer propels a sailboard by combing sailing and surfing. Windsurfing is played both as a sport and recreational activity. Being an Olympic sport since 1984, windsurfing competitions have many disciplines including Olympic windsurfing class, Formula windsurfing class, Raceboard class, slalom, big air, Super X, speed racing, freestyle, wavesailing, Freeride Master blaster and tandem.
