Cat`s claw is an adaptogen with an increasing popularity. Other common names for cat`s claw are hawk’s claw, pot hook, uño de gato, vilcacora and sparrowhawk nail.
This herb mostly grows in south and Central America. Alkaloids and glycosides are the key ingredients in cat`s claw with oxyindole being the main alkaloid. Other ingredients are tannins, sterols and quinovic acid. Cat`s claw has immune – enhancing and anti – inflammatory properties.
