Industrialized lifestyle and growing numbers of obese people have made weight loss seekers and weight management programs rise significantly. Weight loss could be a fun journey, a challenging endeavour, or no-results-seeing dieting.
From bariatric medicine perspective, the first rule in weight loss and lowering LDL cholesterol level is to learn how to deal with complex carbohydrates. If you are planning to lose some weight or decrease your cholesterol level, you would need to set a “Carbs Cut Off Time” for yourself.
It is the time that you should stay away of having complex carbohydrates afterwards. Carbs Cut Off Time is the time right in the middle between wake up time and sleeping time. It may vary during the weekdays and weekends and if you are working rotational night shifts.
For example, if you wake up in the morning at 6:00 am and you go to bed at 10:00 pm, 2:00 pm would be exactly in the middle and this is your carbs cut off time! And you should not have any complex carbohydrates after 2:00 pm. Proteins and vegetables are allowed after carbs cut off time.
